About Ceylon Turmeric
Ceylon Turmeric is prized for its exceptionally high curcumin content, vibrant golden-yellow color, and earthy, slightly bitter flavor. Sri Lankan turmeric has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine and traditional cooking. Our turmeric rhizomes are organically grown without synthetic pesticides and processed using methods that maximize curcumin retention. Ceylon Turmeric is increasingly sought after by health-conscious consumers and the food industry alike for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Our Commitment to Excellence
FEORCEYLON Values
Certified organic cultivation with no chemical additives. Each batch is lab-tested for curcumin content (minimum 5%). Heavy metal and aflatoxin testing ensures consumer safety.
Making Method
Fresh turmeric rhizomes are harvested, boiled in water for 45-60 minutes, and then sun-dried for 10-15 days. Once dried, the fingers are polished to remove the rough outer skin and ground into ultra-fine powder. Our processing preserves the characteristic golden color and maximum curcumin content.
Origin & Sourcing
Cultivated in the wet zone districts of Galle and Matara in southern Sri Lanka, where the warm, humid climate and well-drained soils create optimal growing conditions for high-curcumin turmeric.
